Witnessed in Becoming: A Sacred Evening of Sisterhood, Birth, and Divine Timing

There are moments in life that stay with you.

Not because they are loud or extravagant, but because they are deeply felt. Moments where time softens, presence deepens, and you become aware that something sacred is unfolding right in front of you.

This was one of those moments.

Recently, I had the honor of witnessing and holding space for a sacred Womb Honoring Session for a dear sister of mine … a sister connected not by blood, but by God. A woman stepping into one of the most profound transitions of her life: motherhood.

We often celebrate the arrival of a baby, but there is another birth that deserves just as much reverence … the birth of a mother.

Because in truth, she is not the same woman after this threshold. She is expanding. She is releasing. She is becoming. She is stepping into a depth of love, strength, and identity she has never carried before.

This evening was created to honor her.

To honor the woman she has been.
To honor the woman she is.
To honor the mother she is becoming.

Every detail was intentional. Every word spoken carried meaning. Every moment was held with care. And what unfolded was something so tender — a circle of women coming together to remind her that she is not walking into this journey alone.

There is something deeply powerful about being witnessed in transition.

Not fixed.
Not rushed.
Not expected to already have it all figured out.

But simply held.

Seen in your becoming.

And then, in the most unexpected and almost whimsical way, a deer appeared and stayed with us throughout the evening.

It felt like something out of a storybook … like Snow White had quietly stepped into the moment. 🦌✨

But beyond the beauty of it, it felt like a reminder: we are held by something greater. That even creation responds to sacred moments in ways we don’t always understand, but deeply feel.

One of the most meaningful parts of this evening was the way it was held and created.

I have always believed that photos should do more than capture an image … they should tell a story.

This night was a true reflection of that belief.

Kai and Allie both carried such intention in the way this space was created, held, and witnessed. The care, the detail, and the presence they brought allowed the evening to unfold in a way that felt deeply sacred and aligned.

What made it even more beautiful is the reminder of how God weaves people together. Their friendship only began less than ten years ago, yet the depth of connection between them feels like a lifetime. And honestly, that same feeling has been present in my own connection with both Allie and Alison.

It feels like a God-ordained sisterhood … like we were placed in each other’s lives with intention long before we ever understood the reason.

I can’t help but recognize the beauty in that. The way God brings people together at exactly the right time, for exactly the right season, to hold, support, and witness one another through sacred thresholds of life.

And I am deeply grateful.

Grateful to God for this moment, for this sisterhood, and for the privilege of being present for something so meaningful.

Motherhood is sacred.
Womanhood is sacred.
And being witnessed in our becoming is one of the greatest gifts we can receive.

May we continue to create spaces where women are honored, held, and reminded of who they truly are … in every season of becoming.
